Weight Issues
Well, last night, I went through my "old" clothes...you know, the ones I used to fit in a couple years back, and to my surprise, they all fit (except 3 shirts). NICE! Even the ones I bought around Easter are now too big! There is one shirt that I can't wait to get into, and right now it's tight on me, and I would never wear it out because I don't want to stretch it, and I'd look like Pillsbury dough right after it pops out of the paper roll. So, the shirt is hanging on my wall in the bedroom, and I will look at it everyday, knowing that I'm working to fit in it. I'm expecting that to happen mid-June. But, I really haven't lost weight over the past 2 or 3 weeks. I feel like I have, and all my jeans are loose and shirts are big. Hmm. I guess the muscle does weigh more than fat! That must be it. I'm expecting a 10-pound drop here in the next week or two, though.
The Run
I always like taking a left turn on the park, because I get the uphill battle out of the way early and enjoy the long run downhill along Skinker. It was a fast run, but again, it's the long run downhill along Skinker. Weather was perfect.
| THOUGHTS: |
Thinking about that 10 miles on Saturday. Today was easy. It's nice saying, "Three miles? That's easy!" |
